Job Description

Our client, an NPO Training Facility based in the Limpopo region of South Africa, is looking for a Senior Lodge Management course presenter for a group of 20 students, for a 21 day course on Game Lodge Management starting on the 13th April 2020. It is a home away from home and has a warm & inviting atmosphere, positioned amidst game ranches and reserves to provide unparalleled theoretical and practical training for students. 

They provide training opportunities for people eager to follow career paths related to the conservation of our natural heritage. This temporary opportunity could lead to additional training opportunities offered to you this year!

You will be successful if you have the following:

  • Tertiary qualification preferably a degree or diploma in Hospitality / Tourism, Game Lodge management
  • Management experience or head game ranger experience in a luxury camp environment and Lodge management.
  • Experience dealing with camp maintenance, staff, orders and stock control
  • Fully computer literate
  • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English) as course is to be presented in Afrikaans
  • Enthusiasm, passion and energy
  • Need to be mature in character, well presented and spoken
  • Be reliable, responsible, able to work under pressure and unsupervised
  • Good people skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification preferably a degree or diploma in Hospitality / Tourism, Game Lodge management
  • Drivers License
  • Previous Camp or Lodge management experience
